Thalie Némésis is a project that originated in southeastern France a few years ago, conceived by a musician who wanted to create her own music and take a break from playing in bands.
Originally a solo project, Thalie Némésis delivers dark, intimate, shivering, sometimes orientalist, dark and unsettling music, inspired by eclectic influences including Lynch, 1980s gothic and cold wave, baroque, 1990s all-female rock bands, and trip hop.
This project evolved into a live band with the addition of new musicians and the adaptation of the songs for the stage. Always evolving, it currently features Adrien Guidon, who joined the project’s founder on guitar.
The Thalie Nemesis album is an exploration of human soul contradictions, struggling with her darkside… Nemesis, harmful enemy of the Human Comedy, deity of revenge.
